My Story

Once upon a time, there was a very 'successful' 22 year old, who seemed to have it all; a lot of friends, living together with 14 girlfriends, on track to graduate with honors from university, a healthy diet, a nice job, a six-pack and no rest at all. It turned out I had too much. It was the recipe for burnout. I completely crashed. The only thing I still had energy for were gentle yoga classes. Slowly I started rebuilding my life, being mindful about only adding the good things back. I was so grateful for yoga that I went to India to study it myself. I never intended to, but couldn't help but teach when I got back. This stuff is too good to hide. My life went on, and I was still very mindful about only doing exciting things. I started adding things, and adding things, because I find a lot of different things exciting and fun.

Aaaaaand a couple of years later, I crashed again, boom, burn-out number two. Now I had to learn how to be mindful on a whole new level; to see exactly what effect everything you do has on your own body, energy and soul. I climbed back out, with A LOT of new insights. We have a saying in Dutch, about a Donkey generally only walking into the same rock once, but I guess I needed the rock twice for the message to truly sink in and integrate on a deep level. I am very grateful for my two burnouts, and also for yoga and mindfulness for guiding me through and out.


That is why I devote my life to helping you with yoga and mindfulness. Because I have been in the dark, and I know that there is a way out for anyone willing to let some light back in, I can help you with that. For me yoga is the most mind-clearing, confidence-boosting and happiness-guaranteeing activity, and I wish to spread this to anyone interested. Mindfulness has given my life so much more meaning, allowing me to enjoy the same experiences so much more and slow down. To offer yoga and mindfulness to you is a dream come true.
